What do we mean by leadership?

A leader plays the most vital role and responsibility of the whole team.

• The leader should be fair and impartial while dealing with all the team members.
• Those who do not play a common goal, leader keep them out of the team or make some other use of them. 
• The leader should not hesitate to take the hardest decision.
• He is responsible for inspiring every team member to follow a common goal.
• Unless pushed to limits, the teammates will not perform at its best.
• Sometimes being strict can make others work hard.
• Being ruthlessly compassionate.
• Knowing the strength and weakness of each team member is important to make a strategy.
• There is no alternative to hard work.
• The leader should give hope to overcome all the hurdles that can come while working in a team.
• Understanding and respecting each other's on a team is needed to work cooperatively.

      In the movie Chak De India, the leadership portrayed by the character of Kabir Khan is immensely inspirational. The movie presents learnings about how a great leader recognizes the potential of his team and delivers courage, confidence, and discipline in them. To find the goal, the right person should be placed in the right place at the right time by knowing the individual difference, so that no conflicts take place. The movie consists of the organizational behavior topics like leadership, team formation, norming and storming of teamwork, group dynamics, personality, motivation, etc. 

The whole team should have:

• High level of commitment
• Wide participation
• Strong interaction
• Long term view to achieving goals

       In the movie "Remember the Titans", Coach Herman Boone believed that cooperative working on the team is very crucial to win. He leads the football team throughout the season to achieve their goal. He made the players believed to work together, irrespective of the conflict between black and white players. Leadership involves resolving a dispute between the team and any conflicts between them. Boone as a leader was strict to his team and always focused to achieve their goal. His consistency and firmness helped members of the team to not to lose hope from their objectives.

      As a leader, one will need to hone leadership negotiation skills to cope with any kind of difficult situations. Whether he or she is facing a difficult breakdown in communication, working on a complicated client deal, or negotiating a new pay deal or change in working conditions, there will be some compromise needed to reach an agreeable solution.

Leadership negotiation or communication skills: 

The most successful negotiators are those who can communicate well.

• Flexible communication
• Creating working relationships that help to progress the organization and the individual.
• Understanding the person with whom the leader negotiating, and how to assess their likely reactions and the communication skills will improve. 
• Emotional intelligence is one of the critical keys to attaining excellent leadership negotiation skills.
• An agreement that ends with an enforced deal can break down. The real breakthrough is achieved when both the sides can claim victory, and the needs and those of the other party are both satisfied.
• Knowing your instincts.

The role of a creative leader is not to have all the ideas; it's to create a culture where everyone can have ideas and feel that they're valued.
